During my first semester of grad school my team and I created an animated short film called “Antique” to showcase our skills. This course taught me the fundamentals of Motion Capture using a Vicon Optical Camera System.

Software: Vicon IQ, Blade 2.0, Autodesk Motion Builder, Autodesk Maya, Adobe After Effects

My roles included the following:

– Preproduction (Story, Script, Storyboarding)
– Motion Capture Actress (Grace)
– 3D Character Modeler (Grace, Rocking Horse)
– 3D Environment Modeler (Antique Shop Exterior)
– Layout Artist (Plan/Create Shot List, Top Downs, and Camera Movements)
– Keyframe Animation (Horse (quadruped), Grace (biped))
– Voice Acting (Grace)
